Kitchen Solvers welcomes Darin Midkiff, Arizona native, as the new owner of Kitchen Solvers of Phoenix. Darin has an extensive experience in sales, marketing, and operations management in the home improvement space and spent twenty years working in an in-home sales and fulfillment model. He brings his business experience, drive, and passion for growth to a booming market and is ready to provide the pleasant remodeling experience to homeowners of Phoenix and surrounding areas including Scottsdale and Glendale!
Background
Darin is a big believer in focusing on the customer experience, and it shows throughout his past careers. He spent time with California Closets supporting franchisees and then eventually running multiple corporate locations. Darin enjoyed building efficient systems and processes that franchisees could follow and thrive off. After transitioning out of California Closets, he worked for another kitchen and bath business and fell in love with those spaces. Transforming the heart of the home was where he found his true passion and as he had always had an entrepreneurial spirit, he knew he wanted to build his own legacy.
Hobbies/Interests
Darin’s household is all about sports, music, cooking, wine tasting, and entertaining family and friends. Him and his wife love the outdoors and enjoy walking, hiking, and traveling. For quick getaways, Laguna Beach is his home away from home. As someone who enjoys cooking and hosting, he considers every aspect of the kitchen from style to functionality when planning the perfect space.
Why Kitchen Solvers
After determining kitchen remodeling was where he wanted to build his legacy, Darin was specifically looking for a kitchen remodeling franchise. It was imperative the franchise had a dedicated support system, a great team and culture, a proven roadmap and most of all, they were deliberate about growth and disrupting the industry. After speaking with Kitchen Solvers, he attended the Kitchen Solvers Annual Conference one week later and met with a lot of franchises one on one to understand the culture and experience he could expect as a franchisee.
