Thomas Miskowski, along with Wade Nolte purchased Kitchen Solvers in 2010. In November 2022, Tom was announced as the President of Kitchen Solvers. Prior to him becoming the President, he spent the last 12+ years focusing on leading Kitchen Solvers to the next level in both franchise support and development. As president of Kitchen Solvers, Tom’s core focus is now driving success through three core factors: franchisee satisfaction, innovation, and per-unit metrics. These are all driven by his philosophy of understanding what he would expect, want, and need from a franchisor if he were to open a franchise location.
Tom has an extensive and diverse career and educational background that has allowed him to mentor and lead the home office team and Kitchen Solvers into growth and development. He spent most of his career as President at Century Foods International. He was also the Chief Operating Officer for Cytosport/Muscle Milk. With his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Accounting and Master of Business Administration, along with extensive financial and operational experience, he has a passion for financial security, strategic growth, and installation efficiencies.
When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and building furniture. Community involvement is also very important to him, which is why he has served on the local University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Foundation, Aquinas Catholic School Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club of Sparta.

David Kish has been the Director of Operations at Kitchen Solvers since 2017. Since joining the Kitchen Solvers team, David has rejuvenated the sales and operations systems to make sure franchise partners are staying ahead of the competition. “Homeowners today acquire information faster than they ever have before; they desire instant gratification. If we cannot provide information in a timely manner or we take too long with our processes, homeowners will find someone else who will,” David says. By revamping the sales processes, creating a means to accomplish virtual sales, bringing in new business relations vendors, and enhancing the Kitchen Solvers project estimating program, he continually strives to give franchise partners that leg-up on other kitchen remodelers in their area.
As Director of Operations for Kitchen Solvers, David believes that homeowner satisfaction and franchise partner success are intertwined; one cannot exist without the other. Not only do processes have to be profitable and efficient, they must also bring value to homeowners. David coaches franchise partners to keep that in mind when taking their businesses through stages of growth.
Before coming to Kitchen Solvers, David was working for a Midwest, whole-home remodeling company in sales management and training in the Southwest Wisconsin branch. David worked his way up in the company, spending time in all areas of that business, including installation and office work. He cultivated a valuable knowledgebase of how to unite many different, skilled positions into an efficient and well-oiled, remodeling machine. In his free time, David enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Laura, and watching his two sons, William and Oliver, grow up. He also enjoys scuba diving, golfing, and trying new foods.

She also works diligently on not only launching all of the location-specific Google My Business pages, Facebook pages, along with 400+ directory listings, but she also manages each page on a daily basis. “I don’t feel like I’m performing my job correctly and to the best of my abilities, unless I see my franchise owners working hard, trying new ideas, and succeeding in all areas of their business,” Joanne states. She is the go-to technology, social media, and website expert and thrives off of franchise partners growing in all areas of marketing.
Prior to Kitchen Solvers, Joanne worked for multiple software companies and her specialty was in sales and customer service. Her experience working as a maintenance renewal account manager has given her the expertise she uses today to work individually with franchise locations to grow their businesses. She enjoys seeing the finished kitchen remodeling images as she uploads them to each individual website and social channels and also enjoys watching franchise partners grow through hard work and dedication. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two sons, hiking, biking, and playing tennis and volleyball.

I enjoy the chance to help people succeed and grow into successful business owners, all while doing something I enjoy,” Alec states. Alec grew up learning woodworking from his grandfather and took his passion for the industry straight into Western Wisconsin Technical College where he completed a Woodtech program. It was there he had the professional training for cabinet design, assembly, building codes, and installation. While he spent a lot of his time after graduation project managing fence and deck installations, he always found himself back to woodworking in his free time.
