In 1982, Gerald and Betty Baldner founded Kitchen Solvers as a home-based business in La Crosse, Wisconsin. They found by offering kitchen cabinet refacing, homeowners could achieve the look of a “like-new” kitchen at a much lower cost than a full remodel.
Happy customers generated a lot of buzz about this amazing alternative to traditional renovations, demand spiked, and expansion became a necessity. Kitchen Solvers began to serve all of Wisconsin in 1983.
In 1984, Kitchen Solvers started expanding by offering strong partners an opportunity to invest in a proven bath and kitchen remodeling franchise business. The first franchise partner was established in Janesville, Wisconsin.
As the kitchen and bath remodeling business kept growing, Kitchen Solvers expanded into Canada. The first International franchise location was opened in Ottawa, Ontario in 1999.
In 2010, Kitchen Solvers welcomed new owners, Tom Miskowski and Wade Nolte. With their investment and strong business backgrounds, Kitchen Solvers started to see a transition of taking hard-working remodelers and really turning them into hard-working business builders.
Today there are over 53 Kitchen Solvers franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada. To learn more about building your legacy through a kitchen and bath remodeling franchise opportunity, contact us today.
