Introducing Jay and Leslie Knox, new owners of Kitchen Solvers of Greater Cleveland!

Jay and Leslie Knox are the new owners of two territories in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. The Kitchen Solvers team could not be more excited about the opportunity to work with Jay and Leslie. They have very diverse backgrounds and deep ties to their community. The Greater Cleveland area will be served with the pleasant remodeling experience by Jay and Leslie.

Leslie comes to Kitchen Solvers from a nursing background. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) with Bachelors of Nursing degree. Leslie worked as an RN until making the decision to stay home and raise their growing family. More recently, she has been very actively involved in volunteering for the school’s PTA, local Boards, and within church. She is still currently caring for their four children, while also running successful direct sales businesses over the last few years.

Jay started his professional career in Mentor in the family’s injection molding company and then went on to work as the Vice President of Sales for two other Northeastern Ohio companies, serving over 70 countries. He’s served their local church in multiple volunteer roles, including serving as an officer of the church and as a member of the Preschool Board.

Hobbies/Interests

In her spare time, Leslie enjoys reading and learning new things. She loves traveling and exploring new places. Their family loves to go for walks and enjoys hiking as well. Jay has a passion for playing ice hockey, woodworking, and construction. He also likes computer and video technology and learning about the latest advances in that industry. Like Leslie, he too loves to travel as much as he can. 

Why Kitchen Solvers

Jay and Leslie first heard of the Kitchen Solvers opportunity through a franchise broker. With Leslie having found success in the direct sales business and Jay having always wanted the ability to create and run his own business, they were intrigued by the franchise opportunity. They saw the Kitchen Solvers franchise as an opportunity to build something from the ground up, with the added bonus of leaning on the system to help in the areas they weren’t comfortable with. They are looking most forward to creating a business that allows them to leave a legacy for their family.

During Discovery Day, it was clear to them that Kitchen Solvers was constantly exploring new and creative solutions. They also noticed the passion of the home office team for helping people and working to decipher what someone wants or needs in a situation. During the discovery process, Jay and Leslie liked the support the Kitchen Solvers team offered and the family atmosphere they felt during conversations. Jay mentioned, he also found the openness and willingness to share information refreshing.

After asking them how they felt about Kitchen Solvers, they mentioned, “We found you incredibly helpful and resourceful. You all were always willing to be available to us and to make sure our questions were answered as fast as possible.”

The ability to create a transformation that is incredibly meaningful to homeowners was also something they were excited about. Having just gone through the emotional experience of remodeling their own kitchen, they knew it was something they could do to bring joy to customers.
