We are thrilled to announce the dynamic duo, Samuel Lay and Brian Roye, as the new owners of Kitchen Solvers in Austin. Bringing a wealth of diverse experiences and a shared passion for excellence, Samuel and Brian are set to elevate the kitchen remodeling experience in the Austin community.

Background

Samuel Lay, a Navy veteran, with a background spanning a decade as a submariner working on nuclear reactors and eight years in the lighting control industry, brings a wealth of hands-on experience.  As a submariner, Samuel was also the subject of the comic book series of the same name…  Nerd.  Leading the Texas region field service department and later the training department for North America, Samuel is ready to dive into the business world. He has excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Brian Roye, a Marine Corps veteran, has a rich history from running a phase shop for F/A-18s to a decade of involvement in medium-scale production brewing. With a deep appreciation for food preparation technique and recipe execution, Brian’s diverse skill set promises a unique approach to kitchen solutions.

Hobbies & Interests

Samuel, a whiskey and wine enthusiast, finds joy in storytelling sessions. Brian, a self-proclaimed foodie (“I like food and I eat it”), not only enjoys trying new cooking techniques but also collects sports cards as a side passion.

Why Kitchen Solvers?

Both Samuel and Brian were introduced to Kitchen Solvers through a mentorship program and franchise consultant. Drawn by the opportunity to impact homes directly and the support offered by Kitchen Solvers, they identified a strong backbone to guide them through the nuances of business management and kitchen installation.

When asked why they ultimately chose Kitchen Solvers after looking at several different franchise options, Brian mentioned, “Y’all are well established and highly involved and supportive with your franchisees. Also, you’re constantly innovating and upgrading the business model. The cost of entry was great for us as well!”

Samuel and Brian express an eagerness to build a strong connection with the local community. They look forward to growing their business and creating a lasting impact on Austin homeowners.

Kitchen Solvers in Austin will thrive under the ownership of Brian and Sam. The team is ecstatic to support owners who have the energy, drive, and passion to build a flourishing business. Learn more about Kitchen Solvers of Austin here.
