Introducing Kitchen Solvers of Northwest Minneapolis Owners, Ashley and Mark Swenson

We are thrilled to welcome Mark and Ashley Swenson as the newest members of the Kitchen Solvers family! As the proud new owners of Kitchen Solvers of Northwest Minneapolis, Mark and Ashley are excited to bring our top-notch kitchen remodeling services to the Maple Grove, Andover, Plymouth, and surrounding Northwest Minneapolis areas.

Meet Ashley Swenson: 

With a background in business and marketing, Ashley has a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry, having held various roles from front-of-house staff to managerial positions. She has also gained valuable insights working in direct sales and marketing, as well as multi-level marketing. Since 2010, Ashley has been home with their three children, but her entrepreneurial spirit is ready to shine through in this new business venture. 

In her free time, Ashley enjoys staying active through workouts, traveling, and exploring new areas, along with watching her children’s activities and dining out. Her path to Kitchen Solvers began through Mark’s desire to start his own business. For Ashley, becoming an entrepreneur is about taking control of her family’s future and building something that balances both their professional and personal lives. 

When asked what she believes will make her successful, Ashley points to her drive, personality, and strong work ethic. She was particularly drawn to Kitchen Solvers because of the strong organizational foundation and the flexibility to grow and innovate while having the support necessary for success. She’s been impressed by the welcoming nature and professionalism of the home office team and is eager to immerse herself in the community, building a reputable and thriving business with her family by her side.

Meet Mark Swenson: 

Mark brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and design engineering to Kitchen Solvers, along with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota. His extensive background in engineering management has equipped him with a unique perspective on problem-solving and project execution, which will be invaluable in his new role as a franchise owner. 

Outside of work, Mark enjoys tackling home projects and hitting the golf course in his spare time. His journey to Kitchen Solvers began through his connection with Jon Hylton, who introduced him to the franchise. Mark was drawn to the idea of becoming an entrepreneur to gain schedule flexibility and build something of his own. 

He believes his ability to be flexible and work closely with homeowners to help them achieve their vision will be key to his success. For Mark, the standout feature of Kitchen Solvers is the freedom to manage the franchise in a way that aligns with his approach, unlike other franchise opportunities. His interactions with the home office team have been a highlight, as he appreciates their straightforward, down-to-earth approach. 

As a new Kitchen Solvers owner, Mark is most excited about completing his first project and seeing the tangible results of his hard work. He looks forward to applying his skills and passion to create beautiful, functional spaces for his clients.
